I have a report that currently runs on CE10. The problem I am experiencing is that when I attempt to either schedule the report in Excel data only format, or when I attempt to export a succesful run of the report from CR format I get an Operation not yet implemented error. If I attempt to run the same report in CR10 designer, and then export to Excel data only, I experience the same error. The report can be run in Excel format without an issue. I have several hundred other reports that run that do not have this problem, so dll registration is not an issue.

Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

Sounds annoying...

Perhaps you're exporting too many rows for Excel, I can't recall the limit, it used to be 64000 or some such.

If that fails, try deleting the report and publishing it in to CE again, I've had odd errors go away in this fashion.

Thanks for the quick response. I had previously tried to remove and republish the report without success.

I did find 2 solutions that resolve the issue. The first is that the report was designed to perform grouping on the server. I remove this option and the report now exports as expected.

The second method was to conditionally supress the detail section of the report from the section expert. How this differs from just supressing the section, I do not know, but I do know that it works!

Thanks for your help.
