Hello Everyone,
Do you know about WebCollaboration Solution?
I want to run it on local server.
My files are legacy. how I can download the newer version of them?

Thanks for your help!

I have webcollab but I got screwed so I don't really use it much. When I specified the system I asked for voice, video and web conferencing for at least 10 rooms and so the voice bridge could handle at least 30 callers. I didn't know $hit about the process - I just knew what we did for goto meeting and stuff where some could be on the web and some could be dialed in from wherever. So they set me up with Web Collab and MeetMe conferencing. We got it instaled and were starting to test it when I asked how I was supposed to set up the phone numbers that people call into to get into the conference, to which I got a deer in the headlights stare... So I knew how to use the webcollab with fastclient and I could dial in to MeetMe and have nice voice conferences, but no one can dil into the web conferences. When I made a stink about how retarded the engineer must be that designed that solution, etc, I got nowhere - I must have ended up with the last MeetMe conferencing system (which has been discontinued a long-ass time) on the planet and there was no way Unify had any intention of taking it back, and I got "Web Collab Lite" or some flipping thing that doesn't support voice bridging. They wanted another 60 GRAND to fix it by giving me the "big brother" of the WebCollab I have... Ummm... No... That's not what I asked for... Then I got the "Well if you would have got the full version it would have costed more" speech, to which my reply was "Well, then maybe you wouldn't have been the low bidder anymore..." Needless to say I have a nice webcollab that works great, but we really can't use it because in every meeting there are always 2 or 3 people who dial in. Yes there is a mobile client for it, but we still have people with actual phones out there!!

You would have to ask your supplier to get you any new versions of the software, especially if you have software assurance, as you are entitled to them. They should run on most anything - I'm running it on a virtual server and it seems good and stable. Just once you get going you need to go to that website and login to get your license and configure your fastclient app....

Thank you donb01
I get the webcollab material from partner portal, but realize that the version is legacy. I found the new version of webcollab is in fastviewer website. I don't have much information about webcollab. I want to run it on standard server and work with it, so present it to customers and then buy it.
If you have the new version of webcollab, please put it on Tonido.

Thank you.

I asked my vendor for a new version because I pay a lot of money for software support, but to the best of my knowledge I never got one yet. I'll have to rattle the cage again.
