Product: Norton AntiVirus for Microsoft Exchange 2.x
Supported operating system: Windows 2000
Exchange server version: 2.x

An email message arrives at our Exchange server, NAV for Exchange
detects malicious software within it and quarentines the message.
The message is stored in a Quar$ folder with the name SYQ4fc66ced.Q.

An email is generated by NAV for Exchange and sent to a specially
created email address. I read the email and discover that, at a
particular date and time, a particular virus was discovered in a
particular attachment within an email entitled such and such which
was located in a particular email folder with a particular sender and
recipient. The internet header information is not included. The IP
address of the sender and the true date of the email is not included.

Since the Exchange server is half a continent away from me, I need to
be able to remotely examine the Internet header of these messages to
determine the true time they were created as well as the IP address
of the sender. I do have access to the Q files. I want to open them
up as text emails and examine the header information remotely. I do
not want to open them up within Outlook itself as I want to limit my
system's exposure to any possible virus.

How can I do this?
