Only allow Text to be editable

My client wants the raw file for his use to make future text changes. How do I embed/flatten all images and graphics used in the layout, so that he will not be able to mess with the layout, and only allow the text portions to be edited?

Have him buy it at adobe.com and then set up your document for it.

You can't really do that much with ID. However you can embed the imgages (via the flyout menu on the Links palette and you can lock all images in place via the Object menu.
