OnClick LoadMovie at X,Y Coordinates

Hi, I'm trying to make something where I have a side menu kind of that has a few buttons and then when you click one of the buttons, it will load another swf file into that movie and place it at X Y coordinates. I'm not even sure if this is possible; is it? If so, what would the scripts be like for the movie and for the buttons? Thanks.

You can load external movies in an empty container clip or on another level of the main movie.

Pre-position is easy in an empty container clip on stage. Pre-position a movie on another level is usually done in the loaded movie itself.
