I may be approaching this from the wrong angle but is there an On Open Event in a query? I have an append query but I would like to make sure that the table is cleared everytime the append query is run.

Thanks for any advice.

Dave

Dave,

There is no OnOpen event for a query. Then again, the only place you would trap (and therefore respond) would be in VBA.

I'd suggest just creating a sub to run a delete query right before your append query.
