OL2000/Exchange2000: Cannot delete an e-mail.

I have a user running Outlook 2k connecting to an exchange server. He received an e-mail newsletter and cannot delete it from the Inbox. When I try to delete it I get "Unknown Error". when I try to move it I get "Can't move the items. The items have either been moved or deleted, or access is denied." I can forward it to another user and they can delete it no problem. I can delete any other e-mail in his Inbox.

Technet and Usenet were no help at all, I am hoping someone here can help.

Hi!
Can you give Full Control permission to a Domain Admin account over that mailbox (just temporary - from ADUC/ExchangeFeatures/Advanced/MailboxRights).
Than LogIn as that Domain Admin, open the user's mailbox and try to delete the problem e-mail?
