Hello

I deleted a volume group from the ODM as follows:

odmdelete -q "name=vg_01" -o CuAt

This was fine and the pvs and vg were no longer there from lspv

However, when I do an lsvg, I can still see the vg_01 volume group.

Does anyone know how to remove the volume group (vg_01) thats still seen on my system through lsvg or through smitty vg?

Thanks in advance

Humm that's not a good idea to modify the ODM directly ...

First you probably have some informations in others pars of the odm: CuDvDr and so on.

Try an exportvg VG_NALE

You also still have informations in the VGDA, if the exportvg doesn't work, you may try an importvg and re delete it with usual deleting all the lvs ont the VG and suppressind all the disks in the vg
