NT4 Server - Chaning the Domain

Hello Guys,

I have inherited a couple of NT4 servers and they are making me balder by the minute. One of the servers was in a domain called WEB and was subsequently removed from the domain to one called WORKGROUP. This was done by right-clicking Network Neighborhood and clicking the Change button on the Identification tab. Now, when I try to rejoin the server to the WEB domain I get an error saying "The domain name entered is already in use by other computers".

How can I get this server back in to the WEB domain?

Go to the server manager on the Primary Domain Controller for the WEB domain. Find the server in the list and remove it from the domain.

You should then be able to re-add the server to the domain.
