not backing up webserver

hi

using arcserve 6.1 it is not backing up the webserver - it says that it is but in the log there are a number of files not being backed up because they apparantly are open.

any thoughts as to why this is happening?

My guess is that you probably need to install the Open File Agent to back up the open files...

Before trying the Open Fila Agent. Try the retry option "use lock mode if deny write fails".

ARCserve will lock the file for a microsecond, back it up, then release it to whatever is keeping that file currently open.

Resulting in backed up files, if this doesn't work, hehehe, go the Open file Agent.
