Nortel Prelude ACD needs two mouse clicks in the morning?

When customer comes in in the morning, Nortel Prelude ACD has started doing something overnight where it requires them to use the mouse to select “windows list” and then “ACD Master” to get the system back on line. For many years previously they did not have to do anything in the morning. No known or intentional changes have been made. They have MICs with R1T1 sw, NAM running only Prelude ACD and a third party PC voicemail. Things we’ve tried are, a reboot, put system on UPS and unplugged keyboard and mouse overnight and each morning the same two mouse clicks are needed.

Anybody have any ideas on how to fix it or ever seen anything like it?

Sounds like corruption finally setting in or hard drive failure maybe?.
You could drop to OS2 Warp and do some diagnostics and maintenance.

Looks like the client has failed to do any upgrades for about 20 years so support is not an option anymore.
Suggest they start to prepare to purchase something new.

Is it possible the NAM is rebooting every night due to a power issue? It seems odd that this would only occur overnight.

Curlycord, thanks. Disk corruption/hard drive failure is what someone else said as well.

Brian, we though about power issues which is why we put a UPS on it hoping that maybe something was affecting power at night but unfortunately it continues. Thanks though.

If this is a simple ACD you could install a Flash 4 running ACD software.
