nortel and cisco using Qsig

i have a CS1k rls 5.5 and i need to connect cisco to the CS1k using Qsig. is there anything speacial i need to do on the Noretl side to get the TMDI/ PRI card to link up with the cisco . can i use NI2 instaead of Qsig .

you can using protocol "ISGF or ESGF" on NORTEL side.

i've never seen a clean intergration with ni2. a search here will get you a copy of my qsig config. those two have been up a couple of years with zero problems.. we use names and msg lamps across the d without a problem.

since i made my trunks ncos 1, users on the cisco side use an auth code from ld 88 for ld.. that's a big plus at my site

your more then welcome.. when i built that, i couldn't find anyone that had one working.. including our total cust base. it took a while for a lot of users have used that one to date
