Hi,

In a multi-user database, I have a user that receives the following message when clicking on the “Add Record” button (created by wizard). The user is trying to add a new record in an input form.

MESSAGE

[Red]Button:[/Red]
"You can't go to the specified record".

When the user attempts to go to the next record by using the record arrows (bottom left site of form) she receives the following message:

[Red]Arrows:[/Red]
"No current record"

I thought I ran across some code in one of the posts that will go to the end of the record by adding one (or something like that). :)

Appreciate your time on this one.

Hi there,

it seems you're recordset is empty.
If not; i think the form she is using is build on multiple tables in which it isn't possible to add a record in the simple fashion.

Did you solve this problem yet?

Hi Flippertje,

I did what everyone suggested to do and that was to split the database. I still have a user or two who may receive the messages every now and then. They are able to add 3 or 4 records before they receive the message.
