Probably a daft question..

I'm trying to create a few additional filesystems when doing a install from my 5300-06-01 spot (had same problem at 5300-04-00). I've added in the lv_data and fs_data stanza's into the customised image.data. After the lpar has installed, the logical volumes have been created, but the filesystems are not there.

Looking in the install log, I can see the extra filesystems being created, but then it errors when trying to mount them, saying they are not in /etc/filesystems....

Should it be doing this?

Hi,
Could you give a view of your nim resouces: lsnim -l your script
It will be better if you create one script that can call other scripts and use it as resource script and you should not have a pb. This is what I do and I have everything customised users, lv, fs, etc...
example: script name /usr/local/bin/custumaix.sh that will customise my installation (user creations, vg, lv, fs, security settings etc...)
lsnim |grep custum
custum resources script
# lsnim -l custum
finish_script:
class = resources
type = script
comments = NIM post installation tasks
Rstate = ready for use
prev_state = ready for use
location = /usr/local/bin/custumaix.sh
alloc_count = 0
server = master

I'm trying to create the filesystems from the image.data file, not a script.. Can't post the file as it's on a restricted network that I can't access from here...
