My pc, has installed, an NVIDIA nForce 4 SLI (GA-K8N-SLI) motherboard and chipset. After re-installing WinXP Pro, I then installed all of the drivers for video, sound, etc. from the NVIDIA install CD. Upon installing I started the pc in VGA mode (as suggested) and turned off all AV programs.
Now I am having problems with my graphics, for instance, when I scroll up or down in an open window, the images jumps up in choppy and slight intervals. This also takes quite sometime to finish the scrolling. The other thing is that when I am dragging a window across the screen (it doesn't matter what program is open or if I am just on the internet) it also skips and stutters at a very slow rate across the screen. This also takes a few seconds after you drag the mouse for the window to make it's final journey.
I have tried removing and re-installing drivers to no avail. I don't really know if this can be answered but will try any method necessary to rid this bothersome problem. Thank you.
