newguy needs help with code

i wanted to see if someone can help me come up with a quick code. what i need is a script or something to get subfolders 1 lvl down and size, input the data into specified cells on a xls sheet and print the report. i have googled my but off but all the codes i can find dont do what i need, most dump all of the sub dir's first lvl down which makes a huge spread sheet. the main folder has say a max of 6 subs, i need just the names of those folders and size, thats it no subs below them. input into excel pre existing excel sheet onto certain cells and print. any help is much appreicated!

You seem to say you've something you've worked on, not just open-a-page-one-second kind of googling:
