Dear All,
I am new to SCOM.I have an SCOM server 2007 on windows 2003 server.I havethe following problems:
1. I want to monitor the xp clients on my network.I installed the agent on one of the computer and imported the management pack for "Microsoft Windows Client Operating System Management Pack for Operations Manager 2007", But the console shows " Not monitored". I can see in the client the (Op mgr health) service is installed and running.
2.I have question regarding the management pack.Why do we need management pack , overrides, rules etc.Can someone explain with simple example and how they have used in their environment.
