HI all.
I have just started learning MS Project at College for about two months now. And have run into trouble with a part of my assignment (yes i have tried google and Project help in the search for the answer but to no avail).

So the question i have been given is: "MS Project creates a Network Diagram for your project. Investigate how, and then display the activity on node diagram so that it includes: -EPS, EPF, LAS, TS and FS for each activity"

I have all the activities set, with predecessors. I do have the view bar clicked so i have all the options (eg Gantt Chart, Network Diagram, Resource Sheet etc) down the left hand side. But after that i have no idea what to do.

So if someone could help me that would be great. If i do get back some responses with "do your own assignment" i totally understand as well.

Thanks anyway.

Sounds to me like you want to FORMAT something.

If you need a further hint, post again.

Yeh pls if further help is given that would be great thanks.

Thanks for your help so far it has been useful. Can i hassle you with one more question pls if you don't mind.
In project how to do calculate EPS, EPF, LAS and LAF? Like what fields do i need to use so i can create a box?

Thanks.

If EPS means "Earliest Possible Start" then project offers the field "Early Start". Of course, if EPS is some kind of equation that is based on Early Start" (though I doubt it) then you'll have to tell me what you expected to calculate.

Ah, you want to know what Early Start is. View | Grantt, display the column and then hover your cursor over the column header for it. (If you're using P98 then you'll have to use the full Help functionality.)

EPF - Earliest Finish (?)
LAS - Latest Start (?)
LAF - Latest Finish (?)

You will, I'm sure, give me appropriate credit when you submit your answer.

PDQBach thanks for all your help, really appreciate. I did figure it out eventually by myself.
