NETBuilder 221 General Questions 1

I recently acquired a NETBuilder 221 router product 3C8221C with a cable for the V.35 port with an adapter that converts it to DB25M. I've found a wealth of information while browsing this forum but am wondering if anyone can point me in a direction to get some general info on what I can do with it and how to go about that? It had a password on it but I somehow managed to get past that and reload the flash. Just a little different from the Cisco routers that I did a little learning on. Also I have a NETBUILDER REMOTE OFFICE 221. It appears to be a couple years older but the mainboard looks the same. Are these both the same devices or are there differences? Thanks.

These routers are almost identical. They have changed Flash chips and other cosmetic things. C version is latest and better (a little bit faster).

Thanks for the reply Brat. Aside from the lack of model number, power switch, and casing on the Remote Office I could notice no difference. Though these are somewhat old what can be hooked up to the WAN ports? Is there any sort of adapter or unit that would go between the router and a cable modem to allow the use of such? From information found here I have gathered that using the boot.68k file for a NETBuilder 224 allows it to operate out of boundary routing mode. On the Cisco routers I have used there was a command to assign the router an IP address. All I can find on this 3COM one is directly connected networks. Is that all there is to it or am I just not seeing where the router's IP goes? Thanks.
