Netbackup restore

Hi,

new to Netbackup 6.0mp5. I have made a test backup of a client machine (win2003). The backup was successful, but when I go to restore, it is not visible in the restore screen. For example, the last backup available for restore is two days old, but I know that I have been backing up successfully after the last two days. Why can I not retrieve or see my backups?

Can anyone help please?

you have to verify the retention period specified. If the backup on the tape has expired you have to do an import in order to restore from the tape.

carefully inspect the servername used for the backup and use the same name for the restore. This happens a lot on clustered or clients that have more than one NIC.
