Hi all,
Have a T1 and PRI at customers location.
The T1 internet is combined with a point to point.
Location 1 gets internet and pushes internet traffic to location 2.
PROBLEM i am having: In order for me to get on the internet, i have to have a device to setup a vlan 499 for all internet traffic.
What i have is a basic router and a managed switch that is capable of assigning vlan tags. But if i connect the T1 to the switch, and assign vlan tag 499 to it, then take a untagged port and go from switch to wan port, i cannot get on the internet.
Is there a way that i can assign a vlan of 499 to all ineternet traffic with the equipment i have? The data from location 1 to location 2 is untagged, so i have no issues sending data between the sites.
Thanks
