Hi,
I have replaced one of our company PC(abc-001)with another one. So I renamed the old one abc-001-old and the new one abc-001. I have rebooted them and both PCs are up and running. However when I ping each one of them I get the same IP address. We are running on 2003 server. It looks like the DNS record got messed up or it is unable to register the new PC. Any help.
Thanks in advance.

You answered your question. check the DNS records. There may be two reocrds using the same IP address.
