Need help using atalkd/afpd with shadowed passwords

Hi!<br>

I am running RedHat 6.0 and have installed the netatalk-asun RPM from the libc6/i386 directory. I have shadowed passwords on my system.<br>
<br>
I have the daemons running and can see the machine in the Chooser on my local Mac, but when I try to connect and enter a user name/password (any) I get 'Sorry, that passwor d is incorrect'. <br>
<br>
Any ideas what I can check on?<br>
