We have received a Definity from another Military base and need to purge the configuration to start fresh. I have tried to find out how this is done but have not had any luck. If anyone can assist This will be much appreciated

Thee is a bug on older software versions where if you change the aar analysis tables and put in the range of extensions you want to wipe it will wipe them.

For instance, if you had 1000 phones using 2xxx range. Put 2xxx in the aar tables and enter, then remove it again and you'll find that all 1000 phones are gone!!!!

SCARY!!!

Use ASA to export the stations/VDN's/agent ID's

Use this export to import as a remove list.

If it's a server (83/85/87xx), then why not just re-install CM?

That'll wipe the config.

I'll bet you it's old and doesn't run CM.

I bet it's a G3Si version 8 and doesn't use a license or password file.

Just guessing, lol
