How can you determine the number of Ports on a NAM?

2 ways...depending on the s/w level.

If you go under F983 and enter 44 like you are going to add keycodes you can do a "view" and it will tell you.

The other way is to find the system feature code (starting at F915, 916, 917, etc until you get a password screen) enter the password and scroll through to Channel status...show all

F915 is best as it will tell you how many more you can get without purchase of PEC card (every 8 channels).

. = Active Channel
C = Active Channel thats currently in use by someone
A = Non-Active channel that requires a key code.
X = Requires PEC card and key code
