Hi. I'am having problems with the MOH.

The unit es a IPO 500 V2. release 7 essentias.

The wav file is named holdmusic.wav, in lowercase and it is the same it's working in my IPO500 v1 demo-kit succesfully.

I set up the system with the manager-PC Ip address int he tftp and http boxes.

In the telefony tag , music on hold is set-up as wav file.

The location of the wav file es \\Avaya\IP Office\Manager in the administrator PC.

Then I save and restart the unit (with the manager runing).

When the ipo is in function again, in the system status/alarm/service tag, an "failed to load hold music source file" error is shown.

In the IPO there's no MOH. Only tones.

Could anybody help me?

Thanks in advanced

how are your tftp settings?
Do you have manager set as tftp server in preferences?
How big is the wav file.
How long is the audio in the wav file?

Are you able to see the file extension in your windows explorer? If so is the file named holdmusic.wav.wav?

Thank you very much !!

The file is correct as is the same I use in my unit.

But I assumed that the manager was the tftp server, but it wasn't.

As you indicated, checked it "on" (tfpt sever) and it works

Regards!

1. Verify that in Manager-->System Tab-->System "sub-tab" under file server type it should say "Memory Card".

2. You need to drop the holdmusic.wav file into the manager directory (C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Manager), and then you will need to go to Manager appication, and go to File-->Advanced-->Embedded File Management. Log into file management, and then click on System SD-->System-->Primary. Then click File-->Upload File...
Browse to the manager directory (C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Manager), select the holdmusic.wav file, and upload it to the system SD card.

3. Close embedded file management, and then go to file-->Configuration so you can open the IPO config again.
