Msgbox opens behind form

Hi,

I have a problem with a form. When the form is closed a msgbox "should" appear with a question. But this msgbox opens behind my form.

The form is not opened as dialog and the option modal and pop-up is not set.
Compact and repair is no solution.
Create a new form and copied the content and code to the new form but the problem still occurs.

Other forms in the programs doen't have this problem.

Can someone please help me because it's driving me crazy.

Why not make the original form invisible instead of closing it, then close the form as part of the response code on the message box ?

Thanks Mobyduck for your repley.
While your suggestion works it is not the solution i was looking for.

When some clicks the cancel button the form disappears and the msgbox is shown. When they don't want to cancel the form reappears.
The "flow" of the programs is not good.

Hope someone as an other suggestion of solution

Found the problem.
It was caused by a field with a conditional format.
After deleting the field the form worked.
