When backing up to floppy disks, and there's very little data to write on the 3rd disk, the verification process often fails at the end of the 2nd disk with the error "incorrect media detected", and it prompts for another xxx.QIC 00002 disk. Changing the backup to include more data always fixes the problem. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a patch? Is a different product recommended? Thanks in advance.

MS Backup Error - Incorrect Media Detected

I am a Windows 98 Chinese version user in Taiwan, and I have encountered the exact same problem numerous times. I don't know any good solution to the problem, and despite numerous Internet searches, your comment here is the only other mention of the problem that I can find. I suppose I can add a few files to the directory that I wish to back up on floppies in order to go well beyond the next to last floppy with backup data. If you've had any ideas since November of last year, please let me know.
