Hello everyone!

I have a question that is probally simple, but I seem to be missing something here.

I want to move a extension which is the operator(221) to ring at a diffrent telephone. We have moved some employees around and where the new receptionist is going to sit is where all of the calls should go, which is that 221 extension. Currently it rings at where the managers desk now (ext227). The manager also recieves calls designated for her extension as well.

This is frustrating! Any ideas?

what ext is the operator now ..
I am assuming you are talking about a startalk flash VM
You should be able to go into the unit
F983
or
F913
system manager mailbox + password
example 1020000 for three digit ext.
120000 for two and so on
Then select AA
then Table
then what ever table # you are using
Till you get to ATDT and switch that to the ext you want Mario Mazza

Two things...

(1) The most simple way to move extensions, is to move the cross-connects in the telephone closet.

Before doing this make sure that "set relocation" is set to NO.

(2) Or you could put the phones back in their original location, turn ON "set relocation" move the two phones, then turn "set reloation" back off....

Hope that helps... Dave McCall

Thanks to Mario and NorstarPro! I moved these extensions via the wiring closet, and after a little sweat, viola all is working! You all have saved the day

Gratefully,

Justin
