i got two extensions I want to flip flop

one is on 6/8 and the other is 2/28 ( virtual port I guess )

how would i go about doing this on a magix 4.0 v7

i think ext renumbering will do what I want

It will - except that the virtual one is an adjunct# - not an extention#. It is a 2-step process. 1st you need to renumber one of them to something else - then renumber it to the extention number you want.

yup thats what I read so if the ext is 104 and 105

104 - > 199

105 -> 104

199 -> 105

Should work - just remember - one is an adjunct

im actually converting the adjuct to an extension and the extension to the adjuct. is there another step involved?

Nope - just wanted to be sure you chose renumber adjunct - vs. extention

what would happened if I did everything thru extention? to to make the adjunct an ext I just renumber it thru adjunct and then renumber it again thru ext?
