Move Continuous Form focus on Mouseover Event

Greetings All

This is probably an easy thing but I just don't seem to be able to get my head round it.
I have a continous Form which shows me a list of equipment serial numbers by Location. As I move the mouse over each record I would like the focus to move to that record in order that I may perform some action based on that records ID number.
