I am using CR10.

I have startmonth and endmonth as parameters. I want to display in the Report header the months in words though I accept it as numeric i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4. I know I can use MonthName to get the month as January, February etc but how do I do it in one go in a formula? I dont want to define two formulas - one for the startmonthname and one for endmonthname.

Thanks!

For StartMonth create a formula:
MonthName({?StartMonth})

Repeat for EndMonth

Thank you! I was trying to avoid creating 2 formulas. Was wondering if that is possible. I created a function but again to get the result, you have to call it in a formula.

Monthname({?startmonth}) + " to " + monthname({?endmonth})

Thank you! I should have used common sense-:) You gave me exactly what I wanted.
