Hello!
Some trainers want to monitor Symposium agents while they are "outside" the company.
I know that this is posible with Avaya, but is there a way to do this in Meridian/Symposium?

They want to call a phone number, enter the PosID and start monitoring

Is this posible?
Thanks in advance!

I don't believe this is possible from a standard phone line. It would have to be a Meridian phone configured as a Supervisor with the appropriate features set. It may be possible to dial up a supervisor who could then conference in an agent, but I doubt it, would anyone else care to comment on this idea??

The person needs to have a set off of the PBX. You can set them up with a 2050 softphone set up as an ACD supervisor.

Use a MIROS (Meridian Integrated Remote Observe )card in the PBX.

With this, you can call a PSTN number and will be greeted by the MIROS prompt. You can then enter a Position ID or an Agent ID or a next available agent or a POS ID to observe a call.
