I have been using a pop-up calendar I got from this forum. It works great. I believe the post is from Jimmythegeek.

I added security to my system some months ago and all is well. I created a new security group for some users, as I wanted them to not be able to delete data from the database.

All is working fine with what I originaly intended, however the pop-up calendar opens a form from within a module and I keep getting an error that I don't have permission to open the form. The form I can't open is not visible on the forms menu, it's defined in the module.

Where in the security section do I grant access permission to modules. I can only see database, tables, queries, forms, reports and macros.

How do I grant access rights to this form that is defined in the module.

I hope this is clear enough.

TIA,
George Adams

Thanks TheAceMan1 for your reply.
The form does not have a table underneath it. I have a form that captures data to use as filters for a report. The problem lies with a pop-up calendar I'm using. The form has a command button, that once it's clicked invokes a procedure that shows the pop-up.

When I incorporated the module into my database, all I did was copy the module into my database, I never created the form that the module invokes.

Hope that clarifies my situation.

Thanks again.
George

Either the module expects the form to exist and you need to import it too or it is trying to create the form and you need to give all users permission to modify design etc. of new forms.

If you have to import the form, you may have to allow more permissions to the users depending on what the code does.
