Does anyone know how this could happen, and how to fix it?

> mminfo -q inuse -r barcode,pool,location
barcode pool location
000448 32 Day Offsite

I'm thinking that we have one GREAT jukebox that it can write to tapes that aren't even in the building!

the option "-q inuse" only view tapes that actually used by Legato Networker.

mminfo -s %server% -a -r"barcode, pool, location"

Not exactly, the -q is for tapes that are currently in use. i.e. being read or written to. This flag has been incorrectly written to the media db. I would like to know if anyone has seen the behavior on 6.1.2 and if there is a way to fix it.

The reason this is of concern to me is because we have a custom written tape management program that uses this flag to determine if it is safe to withdraw a pool of tapes. Until I manually withdrew this tape from the jukebox. The tape operators could not unload this pool for offsite storage.

The location switch can also be changed manually from the GUI or from the command line, are you sure that no-one has changed this ???

Using the -r switch will only report tapes used in the last seven days, try using -avr"barcode,pool,location". Regards

No, It's not the location that's wrong. It's the INUSE flag. The tape is not in use, but Networker thinks it is.

Perhaps, someone has changed this flag manually
