Hello

Could someone tell me how manny mailboxes i can have in a MLM with mailbox class of service 3

thank you

The answer to your question will be "soft" as it depends on exact usage of all mailboxes.

A COS of 3 gives each user up to 60 minutes of mailbox storage...10 minutes of which is guaranteed. Should you have 100 hours of storage, you might conclude that no more than six "Class #3" mailboxes could be built.

Do you agree? Ahhhh....wrong; thank you for playing.

The number of mailboxes that may be assigned AND effectively utilized will depend entirely on individual users. This is much like the problem solved by Erlang's theorem: How many lines must I have to assure that the caller doesn't receive a busy signal 1% of the time?

The answer is easy if you're a math guy.

Likewise, the answer to "How many mailboxes can I have, given a fixed storage limitation?" depends entirely on call/VM retrieval habits. Those that are dilligent in retrieving their VM will lessen the load on the VMS overall. Yet there are those who tend to "hide" behind VM and therefore spoil the efficiency of large storage mailboxes.
