Mitel 3300 / MCD 5 connecting to Siemens HiPath 4000 by E1 QSig

Hi,

We will install a Mitel 3300 / MCD 5 on customer-site, his current Siemens Hipath 4000 (V3) has to be operational for a certain time. The Mitel will have E1 interfaces for PSTN and another e1 to Hipath 4000 - the attendant console (AC-Win) should also remain on the HiPath system by now.

Has anybody a brief discription / programing instruction of this QSig ECMA setup / what we should consider?? Any hints are welcome!!

I havent done it with Qsig , but have done similar things for NEC , Siemens and Panasonic , with ISDN.

Just change E1 towards Legacy Pabc to me master and use ARS on boxes to route the calls.

Added are the setting for the Siemens switch. On the Mitel 3300 side it's very straight forward. Make sure while testing to check channel 16
