Hi,
I am required to physically move one node from an SP complex into another sp complex. Both SP complexes have SP switch.Looks like i will be required to run SP switch specific commands like "Eannotate","Etopology","Eclock -d" and Estart(may be in both source and destination SP complexes!).The above is likely to disrupt SP switch fabric momentarily! Could somebody help with the detailed steps that needs to be performed for this node migration!?Any pointers to pertinent documentation would also be very helpful!

Sorry, no freebie on this one. This is too complex to and things could happen that make the switch fail on both complexes. I have 3.5 years on SP2 hardware and PSSP, but not doling out advice on this one.

If you have an SP, then you almost surely have support so just call the SP support line. And also, usually IBM CE's do the actual hardware moves and cabling for the SP.

Hello,
Appreciate your quick response.IBM CE will be doing the actual hardware move and cabling.I was looking for the steps that I need to perform on source SP complex to remove the SDR information pertaining to moving node and any stop/start/restart of daemons, and also the steps that i need to perform on the destination SP complex to update SDR regarding the node being added in and any stop/start/restart of daemons regarding the node being added in!!Looks like there is a particular section regarding this kind of activity maybe in PSSP 3.2 Admin Guide!!??
Thanks in Advance for your Help.

Go to the IBM Redbooks website and look at the book titiled "Power Recipes for PSSP ???" or similar to that title. I know it's Power Recipes ..., but not sure of the exact title. It will contain the steps you need to take before and after the CE moves the hardware.
