Midi support?

Mandrake 8, Gnome on a PIII 600/384meg/etc.
Anyhow, sound card is a Creative ensoniq, which works with .wav fine, but I can't seem to get any midi support. Downloaded and installed Plugger from

which works just fine on video stuff, but no audio from the 'net.
Any ideas how to get midi support? Is my card supported in Mandrake 8? Seems to be, it installs (self detect on install was fine)... Cheers,

Nevermind. It was volume settings WAY too low to hear anything. Took me awhile to find the volume control in Gnome. Cheers,
