I want to deploy Microsoft Unified Voicemail and use that instead of Avaya's voicemail for users how would we set this up? I think the Voicemail unified messaging is a joke doesn't do what I want....

Reading the above it is not you who want to have it installed but womeone else.
Make a list of pros and cons of using MS VM against IPO VM, is the score is negative forget MS VM.
In my opinion it is not worth a try, nothing beats IPO VM

As long as all their customers are North American and never use slang, colloquialisms or regional variations of common words then they're onto a winner there
