Micros 3700 error

Hi there, My Micros 3700 workstation in the bar needs resetting /
restoring. It boots up to the start-up user screen, ready to enter
password, but when I try to log-in, it seems the functions assigned to
the touch-screen buttons are messed-up, i.e., when I touch the number
\"5\", the number 3 is what registers instead of 5, when I touch the
number \"6\" a different number registers instead of the actual number
6, etc. Hence, I could not even get into the system. Could you help ?
Is there a way we could just restore to the original state of the system

Attach a keyboard to the unit and use the keyboard arrows to get to the calibration program. It should be ELO touchscreen calibration or something similar. Use the on screen instructions to calibrate the touchscreen. You should be good from there. I think this is what you were after.
