Merge config Problems 2

As SEARCH does not work unable to find comments on above

I have 2 sites

1 with latest Version 2.1

1 with latest Version 3.0(DT)

All applications are from the above releases

When sending a merge config command via manager everything looks to have worked BUT !!

- Some extensions looose dialtone

- Incoming calls not passed thru

Only way to resolve is a complete power down of system

Config chages via When Free or Immediate work fine

Numerous other sitess with 3.1 , 3.2 & 4.0 all woring OK

Are you using 3.0 (578) DT Manager.
If so. Get it off you machine ASAP.
Use Bin files for 3.0 (578) Only and use the new manager for 3.2/4.0

It is a pretty well know bug unfortunatly. Hope this helps you.

Correct the provider.

2.1 78 and 3.0 578 manager can cause corruption upon merges.

There is a PB for this amanger version or a 3.2 or 4.0 manager will also work ok.

Platinum Guy what is the PB you are speaking of? I am having this same issue here.

There is a PB of manager that will not cause this issue on merges.

The build number is 5.0.578.3701

If you contact your distributor/support they will be able to get this for you.

Or use a 3.2 or 4.0 manager.

The down side to this is that you obviously wont have the right bin files for your system in your manager directory but that can be easily overcome.
