Used to be able to purchase Mercator Runtime Execution Engine without the whole authoring system suite. This is just to run compiled maps. What is the equivalent of that today with Ascential?

DataStage TX = Command Server. Contact Ascential Sales.

If we need to give our compiled maps to another group of people to test, but we do not want to send the source maps and type trees, etc. What is the recommendation?

dstx mapname.mmc will run the map. If you don't use SAP, or other extras, you could save a bit. Also, compare cost to DataStage TX Desktop. Even if the MAp Designer etc, are not used, it could be less expensive than Command Server. Even Design Studio might be less expensive, and if all you send is the .mmc, there is nothing they can mess up.
