McAfee firewall

i get this when i try to start McFee firewall.McAfee Firewall encountered an error attempting to start the Firewall service.
The dependency service or group failed to start.

Need help on this thanks

A little more information is probably required. I'm going to assume that you're using XP.

Check event viewer for more information.
Start, Run, eventvwr.msc

Check the dependencies of McAfee firewall
Start, Run, services.msc, double click the McAfee firewall service and check the dependencies tab.
