I have a question regarding voicemail on a line that already has AutoAtt.

I have an DID that is not assigned to a port but bridged on 10 different phones. The coverage path goes directly to AutoAtt after 1700. My customer asked to have a voicemail during business hours directing callers to an 800 number, but I have been perplexed on how to do this. Any help would be great.

I have tried to create a cover path that points to a different station and change that voicemail but the call doesn't pick up that extensions voicemail... I'm lost.

How are you activating the coverage path by time-of-day now (your statement of "after 1700")? If your voicemail is Audix, look into auto-attendant-routing routing-table in Audix. You can specify business hours and different mailboxes to use for Day Service, Night Service, and Alternate Service. Then you could use a different mailbox with your 800 number redirect greeting during the day and the normal auto-attendant greeting after 1700.

As of right now I am using a time-of-day coverage to point to different coverage paths. After 1700 the the call will go to a coverage path that goes to voice mail. Before 1700 the call does not go to any coverage path. I will try and specify different mailboxes in auto-attendant.

Thanks for the tip!
