Hi!
Using MSWord 2003 I did mailmerge.
The result is a document with just one page.
That one page contains all the 'pages' of the mailmerge.
Every 'page' appears as a section.
How to get 'normal' mailmerge document with many pages iso many sections?

Hi Bart,

What type of mailmerge did you do? You can get a result like this via a Directory or Catalogue mailmerge. If you did a 'normal' mailmerge, are you viewing the document in Print Layout view?

Cheers

Hello macropod,
Sorry for late responce.
I tried to figure out what you meant by Directory or Catalogue. But I don't understand.
I used an Excel sheet as datasource. I used the excel columns as fields. I realised it all by using the buttons in the toolbar.
After doing the mailmerge I ended up with a doc having one (1) page witg as many sections as the rows from the excel-sheets.
Any Idea, how can I inform better for giving you good overview?

Hi Bart,

On the Tools Menu, click Letters and Mailings > Mail Merge. What type of merge is selected? Directory is one of the options. You probably need 'Form Letters'.

Cheers
