I have a 308EC, Partner Messaging, and a 509 processor. Placing in that order

I want to assign ext 11 to play a greeting for callers to hear and not to let callers to leave any voice mail message. If i turn off the voice message for ext 11...Direct extension dialing to ext 11 would not work at the menu prompt.

So how do I get it to play a greeting when caller hear greeting at ext 11 and not to let them leave a message while callers can also use DXD to ext 11 at the menu prompt?

Create a regular mailbox in system administration then log into the mailbox itself and change call answer mode to answer only and create a personal stating what ever you want.

if i just create a regular mailbox and change to answer mode only. After the greeting isn't it going to transfer the caller to ext 10?

Only if the caller hits zero.
