I'm running Exchange 2003 Enterprise in Native mode. I have granted the Domain Admins and Enterprise Admins security group access to all the mailboxes (I know, I know, I know). Anyway, I want to exclude one particular user account that happens to be a member of the Domain Admins security group from having access to any mailbox other than their own. If I add them by exception and to the Exchange Org, what items do I need to deny them to that will still allow them access to their own mailbox?

on the SG mail store level, deny this user of Receive as and Send as permission.

So that won't impact their own mailbox access? Just checking. Thanks for the info

u can hit advanced tab on their own mailbox to custmize the ACLs.

But to verify, this won't impact the ability to access their own mailbox, just any other in the Store? This needs to be a seemless transistion.

u need to test in a lab. bear in mind, any ACL changes, u need to log off that user to gain a new token to logon back to test the new ACL
