Hello, I work for a publishing company that uses a mac server. I'm usually pretty good with the network (considering I have no formal education in networking) but I recently have been trying to get a laptop (WinXP) to operate on it. The laptop is able to connect to the internet, but wont access email. What I would like MOST is to be able to access the main hard drive on the network (called Pagination) for file sharing. If anyone can help me or direct me to a site explaining this I would greatly appreciate it. The mac server is OS 8. I have heard of a program to buy that does this but I'm afraid I'm over my head with this one...

Hi Brodie,

Sorry to both you, but I'm having a similar problem, but haven't managed to reach the position you have. I've got an OS X Mac and Win XPPro laptop, I can get them to file share, but cannot get the laptop to access the internet through the Mac. Any ideas?

Cheers,

Matt.
