Hi, we're implementing long distance code on 79xx phones.
The rules will be... executives won't need the code, some staff won't need the code from 9-5, and some will need the code always.
we're on CM 6.0. How do I configure this please?
Thanks in advance...

Are you reffering to Forced auth codes from the call manager or LD codes from the provider itself?

The LD codes from the provider are permanent and you cannot bupass them. You will need an active code for every LD call made. Your provider does not distinguish what extension makes the call or time of day.
Call manager is unaware of the LD provider asking for a code. As far as the system is concerned the call is already connected.
You can enable FAC codes on call manager, and then you can control who has to dial them as well as time of day, but you will have to manage all of it.

Thanks very much, this is good one. At least I have somewhere to start looking into.
Thanks...
